I’m Liz, and I live in Kent, UK. I’ve recently realised I spend far too much time worrying about what I don’t have, and not nearly enough focusing on and being thankful for the many good things in my life. So I’m using this blog as a way to share and appreciate all the things that make me happy.

This has led over the last few months to a random assortment of musings on books, films, TV shows, music, theatre, Mr Darcy and anything else that happens to have popped into my head just as I sat down at the computer. Occasionally I get serious, but on the whole I try to keep it light. So if you’ve stumbled on a post that’s a bit depressing, try another one and hopefully it’ll make you smile…

It’s not all about me, though, and I’d love to hear from other people as well – so please do comment and share your own happy things 🙂

    1. I’ll definitely do that, Steve, especially if there’s a drink in it 😉 Thanks for popping in here as well, hope to see you again soon!

  1. Love your title and tagline and what you blog is about. I love books and theatre. My daughter and I are off to see ‘Wicked’ next week. I saw it a couple of years ago but wanted to see it again.

    1. Thank you and hello 🙂 I love the quote on your blog, about losing our fear of being wrong – that’s so true! Hope you enjoy Wicked, I liked it better second time as I wasn’t concentrating so hard on understanding the story and could just sit back and enjoy the show. Have fun 🙂
